No, I did not know Carolyn.  I am just an admirer of hers.  I was an admirer prior to her passing, having always appreciated her beauty, elegance - how classy she was.  After her passing, her friends started speaking more openly about her - and I appreciated even more about her.  How her laugh could light up a room.  You can tell in photos that she just glowed.  She had an energy about her that was so powerful - she seemed like the type of person that you couldn't be around and not love.

I don't personally know - but, it's rumored that they met in 1994.  The circumstances surrounding their meeting have always been something of a legend however.  Some say they met when John went into Calvin Klein to be fitted for suits.  He saw Carolyn and asked her for her number.  Others say that the two exercise buffs met while jogging around New York City.  There has never been confirmation on either story - so, we're left to wonder.  All we do know is that John and Carolyn did meet, fell in love and got married.  And that tragically their lives ended too soon.

I do not wish to speculate on Carolyn's personal life.  It's one of the reasons there are no photos of her fighting with John in Central Park, why the photos of her semi-nude on a boat are not on this site.  Carolyn was a private citizen.  There are certain areas of her life that I do not feel should be trespassed, and me speculating on what she did in her recreational life is not my place.  I will also not get into the issue of whether John and Carolyn were going to be divorced. 

Their dog Friday and their cat Ruby were adopted by friends.  Friday had a rough time with the transition, however - he missed his owners dearly (who wouldn't?)

I made a decision a while ago that I would not post photos of Carolyn that I thought she herself would not want posted on a website.  The fight that Carolyn and John had in Central Park was obviously very traumatic for both herself and John.  It's horrible that a photographer just happened to be following them that day and snapped those photos.  You can look at two sides of the coin.  One is that it shows just how real these two human beings were.  How real their relationship was and how deep their love was.  And having seen the photos myself online - I can tell you that one of my favorite photos of Carolyn was taken while she and John were making up.  She looks like an angel.  But, I also see the flipside to the coin.

And that is that Carolyn and John were private citizens as well.  And I feel the photographer who took these photos crossed a line.  I don't feel the photos ever should have been taken and therefore they will never appear on my site. 

You may ask why I have other photos of Carolyn and John out playing in Central Park with their dog or out walking - why  I don't mind those being up.  And that is because there were several times when both Carolyn and John didn't mind photographers taking photos.  I have no way to know when it was or wasn't appropriate for a photographer to be taking photos.  I can, however, guarantee that when John and Carolyn were in the midst of a physical fighting match - the photographer should have left.

Quite honestly, I think it's disgraceful.  This man claims to be a close personal friend of John's mother Jackie, yet - he publishes a trashy book about the Kennedy's which includes items on her children and their spouses.  Are they true?  I have no idea.  I doubt Mr. Klein even knows if what he wrote was true.  What I do know is that his book is tacky, trashy and distasteful.  He should be ashamed of himself.  He's profiting from the deaths of Carolyn and John, and this makes me sick to my stomach.  As I've said before - no one knows what really went on between Carolyn and John except for Carolyn and John. 

What do you think of the book by Michael Bergin, who used to date Carolyn?

I don't doubt the feelings Michael had for Carolyn.  I am sure that he loved her greatly.  However, I do think it's very wrong to write a book about someone who is not here to defend themselves against accusations.  I suppose I'll have to read the book before I comment further.
